Health Benefits of Rockmelons

  Rockmelon is an exceptional source of Vitamin C, adenosine, beta-carotene (a precursor to Vitamin A), dietary fibre, folate, folic acid, potassium, protein and water.  It also has fair amounts of Vitamin K, Vitamin B1, B3 and B6, copper, magnesium and zinc

Add to a salad with cucumber, tofu,chai seed, avocado, rocket & coriander with a mirin and coconut oil dressing

A popular appetizer is a ripe rockmelon wedge wrapped in lean, thinly sliced Italian prosciutto di Parma.  The sweet and salty combo is addictively delicious

Rockmelon is also the perfect addition to a savory or dessert gazpacho, aka cold soup, especially in the blazing summer months

A sorbet or granola with rosewater is a gentle soft combo

Or Avocado and Rockmelon yoghurt icecream for a tasty treat
